weave your story in the strands of my hair

This song cycle was commissioned by  musician, teacher and writer Jen Sherrill. She is also a world traveler – amongst her adventures, she has walked the Camino in Spain and taught music in refugee camps in Greece – and memorializes her journeys with poetry, music and photography. This particular set of poems was suggestively titled “Song Cycle” and evocatively illustrates the longing and passion that arises from exploring a strange and wonderful place.
