Mirrors

For flute duo. Duration - 7 minutes.

In 2019 we are given ample opportunity to see ourselves in “mirrors” – in our bathrooms, in digital photos, at any moment on our phones. We have a daily hyperawareness of ourselves and our appearance, for good or for ill. This piece is a reflection on that thought, with titles based on answers to the statement “When I look in the mirror…” Some of the answers are mine, while others were provided by friends.
